I love all of the pop art zombies I’ve seen all over Pintrest, but I know that bit of makeup magic is beyond my reach… for now. In the mean time, I thought I would practice and make my own DIY Zombie Pop Art Canvas! Whoop for more Halloween decorations!
DIY Zombie Pop Art Canvas
You will need:
- 12 inch x 24 inch canvas
- Acrylic paint
- Assortment of paint brushes
- pencil
Instructions:
1. You can do a pop art any way you like, but my recommendation is to first sketch it out, both on a piece of paper and then again on the canvas. The paint will hide the lines.
2. Do light colors first, then follow up with darker colors. Finally, line everything in black. You can also consider dotting all white or light spaces, which is a popular theme with pop art.
3. Finally, you can also give it a little more “action” by adding another outline.
I know it is a cheesy painting, but I still love it! Maybe I will work my way up to my own pop art zombie look!
