Near the river, there is a meadow. This could be a line in a song, and i’m sure it would sound as beautiful as it looks. Just past the bike trail entrance at 8th street downtown, this lovely little meadow sprang up and I just had to get pictures here while the flowers were still blooming!
This dress is nearly four years old, but is my very first Maxi! I had told myself for years that maxi dresses were just not something I could wear with my curves… but finally found one that I feel flatters my figure!
I still need to work on hiding that damn remote…. apparently there is a bit of a learning curve to posing while using one. While doing this shoot, I felt a bit awkward and rushed (this is probably going to happen a lot). The meadow was near an apartment building, and an elderly gentleman sitting out back smoking enjoyed the show of this crazy girl taking pictures of herself from a distance. Needless to say, I packed up and got out of dodge before remembering to take some closeup detail shots.
I also learned something about myself in the last two outfit shoots… I have Bitchy Resting Face! Nooooooooooo!!! Definitely something to be aware of. A majority of the shots I got from the meadow looked like there was a foul smell nearby… not exactly what I was going for. Something to consider in future shoots!
